Adrasan coast is a naturally protected area. It is a beautiful holiday destination with an excellent beach. The turquoise sea is perfect for swimming or paddling, with activities such as banana rides or sea-kayaking also available. Have a break from sun-bathing and try a range of other activities available to you in the bay.
We can arrange for you to join one of the daily boat tours from Adrasan and these are a real favourite with our customers. Spend the day cruising along the stunning coastline, stopping to swim and snorkel in secluded bays. There are a range of destinations including Water Island (Suluada) and Honeymoon Bay. Trips include a cooked lunch of fresh fish with drinks available on board. Snack on fresh fruit while you keep an eye out for the turtles and dolphins! For keen anglers, Adrasan is ideal for deep sea fishing and boats can be hired for this purpose.
Diving (Booking Required)
Adrasan is an ideal location for scuba diving due to the crystal clear waters. The Adrasan Diving Centre can offer a one day diving experience to explore the underwater world of the bay. They also offer diving certification courses and private lessons for anyone interested in becoming a professional diver.
Paragliding (Booking Required)
If you want excitement, you can reserve a place on a tandem paraglide over the mountains landing on Adrasan Beach.
Catch a ride by dolmuş (minibus) to the weekly Adrasan market to haggle for local produce including fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices, turkish delight and gifts for your friends and family. The resorts of Antalya and Kemer offer a more ‘up market’ shopping experience!
Choose your trail: follow the coastline to reach the Adrasan lighthouse or walk through the pine forests and enjoy the amazing views. On The Lycian way you can walk or cycle through history. For hikers the Lycian Way leads north to Olympus, where the ruins are an experience to walk though. Then it's a gentle 4km walk along the beach to see the eternal flames bursting from the rock at Chimera.
Historical Sites and Natural Sites of Beauty
This is an area steeped in history with so many places worth visiting. Whilst here you may like to visit some of the splendid archaeological sites of the area such as the ancient city of Olympos, the well preserved ruins of Arykanda, the ancient city of Perge, and also Aspendos with one of the world’s best preserved Roman theatres. Visit Demre which is known as the real home of Father Christmas or take a trip to the magnificent waterfalls at Duden and Manavgat.
Finally, consider a Tahtalı mountain cable car trip for an amazing experience travelling from sea to sky. The cable car at Mount Olympus provides a panoramic view of the area . It is 14,298 feet (4,359 meter) long, and is one of the longest in the world. The cable car was built by the Doppelmayr Garaventa Group, the world's leader in ropeway engineering.
